This is also a place where I share my personal experiences with my own fitness and quest to see just what my body can do when I set a goal and do what ever is possible to achieve that goal. Consistent action produces consistent results!

Setting up the week

Good Morning! When I woke up this morning I took inventory of exactly what I had to do for the week. I checked my schedule for my clients, I checked how many chapters I have left to read, and I looked around at my house. So at 6am I began to clean....with a huge cup of coffee in my hands. Though my work and my studies have left my house on the lowest of priorities, I just could not stand it any more. So by 6:30am I had a cleaned and organized house.

I then sat at the computer and caught up on emails, schedules, plans, and bank accounts. I find this vitally important for the week to be organized. I am notoriously known for getting up 2 hours before the crack of dawn. This helps me just get it all together, so again, nothing is hanging over my head.

I find this one of the most beneficial tools my mother taught me. Organize the week and you will be productive. Know your schedule and your finances, and you will know your priorities. (Thanks Mom.)

How does this relate to fitness? It's all interconnected my friends! Fitness to me is not just about a fit body. It's about a fit mind and a fit and organized way of living. If we are constantly feeling like 2 steps behind then we will be. If we are clear and organized about the week to come then all things are aligned in order to live healthy and fit.

So today I have set up the rest of the week for success. I know my client schedule, I know my finances, I know my scheduled work outs and runs, I know my time to study, and I know my bed time. Some will say this is micromanaging the details. However, I feel it is managing your life so one can be fit and healthy. My goal: to be in forward momentum, 2 steps ahead.......
